Lovely fresh cooked fish and chipsNicely done.Simple fare for a fair price.

Just minutes before Barron Falls Lookout, this place is located next to the service station. The food was of good quality as well as fair in quantity. The lady who served me was very courteous, she didn't even charge for the tomato sauce which was a shocker for a Sydneysider. Didn't get to ask her name but she also recommended some awesome places to visit locally which helped a lot. Would definitely recommend!

Great place to grab a simple bite to eat while avoiding inflated tourist pricing. $19 for 3 burgers and some chips. Good value for money.

Came here looking for a lunch spot as we were walking around the Kuranda Village. Every cafe along the main road seemed fairly "touristy" so we came here looking for a more local fish n chips spot. From the outside it really doesn't look like much - it's a no-fills kind of place that's attached to a gas station and has a few tables outside. The lady behind the counter was extremely friendly, and cooked up some delicious calamari and fries. As my partner and I were sitting outside eating, we noticed heaps of locals stopping in and out to order food and chat (or at least I assumed they were local and lived nearby). I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some good, cheap eats.

This place is the definition of a hidden gem. This is absolutely where the locals go to eat and you will not regret coming here. The restaurant is located next to a gas station and just a few steps away from the center of where everything seems to be happening. We shared a generous portion of calamari and chips accompanied by two sodas and paid less than A$15. We walked away so satisfied and mentioned more than once we were so happy to have come here.
