I love this place. I have been going since I was one and everytime I learn something new. Despite the bad reviews about the owner (Stuart), he is actually a lovely man who cares for and respects the animals. Stuart has taught me just about everything I know about reptiles and is keenly passionate. When I was 6 he took me on a catch and release mission. A snake was caught in a wire fence and had to be removed. I know first hand that he treats his animals well, having fed and held many of the animals. He is cautious with the venomous species when handling them around visitors, but the non-venomous species he lets people pet and hold. All in all this zoo is an amazing experience and there are always people who think poorly of things. Go, and judge for yourself.

I lived there back in 2009 and love the place all ways like going here all the time 5 Stars for me and will go back

My daughter loved holding the snake and stick insect. She claims it was the best day of her life and now wants a pet snake.

Definitely was not worth the money. I saw a total of 5 snakes and two spiders and they all looked to have been not looked after properly. It looked like a run down shed that had a few random bits and pieces thrown in to make it look as though there was maximum effort put in. The reptiles were in the smallest enclosures, they were definitely not fit to be in there. The owner had a bigger ego with tonnes of murals about himself and was obviously not concerned about making the zoo look inviting to customers. You could barely see the spiders or scorpions in their tiny enclosures due to there being no light in a dark room.

Amazing experience.Staff are so passionate and keen to share what they know.My kids (boy and girl 4&7) loved it! Highlight of the week.Holding and touching snakes plus learning about the scientific research underway was fantastic.Thank you so much!
