Very popular place. Great trails and spectacular views. Parking is a bit of a problem as there is not enough for peak demand. My advice is to arrive early.
It is a beautiful gorge. The hiking is amazing and the water scoured boulders, as big as houses, are worth seeing. The river is very powerful and to be respected. I'm still amazing thinking about it. It is both beautiful and scary.
Wonderful area to visit. So many amazing sights to see. Fantastic to walk through the park and take in the beauty. Not to be missed if you are in the area. Also very accessible to all fitness levels.
The whole experience of visiting the national park was a great experience. Starting from the railway ride for 90 minutes, the Barron waterfalls, followed by a ride on the Barron river, visiting the bird par and the koala bears and ending with the sky train ride in the way back.A perfect day.
I am a naturalist and conservationist and found this area to be too good to be true. Excellent rain forests and totally protected. It was part of my bucket list of places to visit and did not disappoint.
